When two totally immature and spoiled men -- Brennan Huff (Will Ferrell, who co-wrote the script) and Dale Doback (John C. Reilly) -- find themselves thrown together as step brothers when their parents (Mary Steenburgen, Richard Jenkins) marry, the result is fierce bickering and aggression towards each other, lots of farting, crude, rude and flat out nasty behavior.

Can these two morons ever get along with each other and get along in real life?
