Lymelife (2008)

Suburban life. A marriage in crisis. Teenagers coming of age. The ravages of Lyme disease. The loss of the American dream all set on Long Island more than 30 years ago.

Mickey (Alec Baldwin) and Brenda (Jill Hennessy) Bartlett are barely staying afloat in a sinking marriage. Their teenage son, Scott (Rory Culkin), is experiencing the first flutter of love and sex with the neighbor girl, Adrianna Bragg (Emma Roberts) whose father, Charlie (Timothy Hutton) has gone off his nut with Lyme disease.

Others in the cast include Cynthia Nixon as Charlie's wife and Kieren Culkin as Scott's kid brother.

Written by brothers Derick and Steven Martini; directed by Derick Martini.

Run time: 1 hour, 35 minutes

Rated R for language, some sexual content, violence and drug use.
