Hollywood producer Ben (Robert De Niro) struggles to balance his professional and personal life. With two ex-wives (Robin Wright Penn, Lily Rabe) to support, children from both marriages to spend time with, a tempermental actor (Bruce Willis), a ulcer-wracked agent (John Turturro), the blocked scriptwriter (Stanley Tucci), the prima dona writer/director (Michael Wincott), the rigid studio exec (Catherine Keener), Ben is stretched to the limit.
